Bernardi Volvo Trade Up Give Back Event

When you upgrade your vehicle at Bernardi during October, we’ll make a donation to the Natick Service Council (NSC), a nonprofit that promotes self-sufficiency among community members who are going through hard times.

Natick Service Council, Inc. Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Since 1962, the NSC has collaborated with volunteers and donors to provide hundreds of local households with good food and housing, along with emergency financial assistance and special programs for children. The NSC makes a positive impact on Natick residents every day of the year. This is your chance to make a difference as well.

The Natick Service Council provides assistance with:

  • Food
  • Rent and mortgage payments
  • Heat and utilities
  • Clothing (Harriet's Closet)
  • Children’s after-school programs, summer camps, and tutoring
  • Employment-related services via the Joan H. Brack Career Development Center
  • Transportation to work, appointments, and the food pantry

Food Assistance

The NSC’s Heart Healthy Food Pantry opened in 2013 to help Natick residents who aren’t able to afford daily nutritious meals. Clients are welcome to as much as two weeks’ worth of fresh produce, low-sodium foods, lean meats and fish, low-fat dairy products, and items for personal care when they visit this volunteer-staffed food pantry. There’s also a Food Rescue area for distributing produce that’s been saved from being discarded, as well as the Mobile Market, which transports specially packed boxes of nourishing foods to clients.
