Volvo’s B5 powertrain appears in each of them, marrying a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (247 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque) to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive will be the more popular option on this winter-ready car. The S60 is remarkably efficient, too, returning an EPA-estimated 26 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway with FWD and 25 city/33 highway with AWD.

If there's one thing that really makes the 2023 S60 stand out, it's Volvo's commitment to providing the highest quality experience imaginable.
